IS PTSD A SYMPTOM OR A SYNDROME?
Some say a Cough is to Cancer as Anxiety and Depression is to PTSD; either way, symptom or syndrome, call is something and move on as a cure is needed.

Grief is not a noun, it is not a thing. It is a verb, a thing we do. I have never felt grief, I challenge that no one else has. But many of us, if not all off us in our communities and tribes have done grieving. Other books talk of a collection of emotions that combine to the grieving process; be that in a cycle, stages or waves. These are real emotions of loss, denial, anger, sadness and bargaining.
I have experienced loss both familiar, material and conceptual. I have never felt grief; but I grieved. I did it and I am better for it. I listened to ‘seasons of love’ and ‘glory’ from Rent; also the theme from life after high school. I could not forget Misters Cash, Diamond and Rogers.
But always allow love not hate to guide you through the process…
So here is my two cents on yoga for mental health such as PTSD. This post is made with honest respect to the true art and religion that is known generally as yoga, I am not trying to replace the genuine guidance of true practitioners; every day, do these six poses or something that resembles them in intent…
1. Plank = it is flat, but you will get better
2. Cat = a focus on the mind
3. Dog = a focus on the body
4. Ball = because you will do something active today
5. Sun = look at it, grab it’s energy
6. Tree = you are growing
